NRSG 080 Phlebotomy Certification

Course Description:

The Phlebotomy course curriculum prepares healthcare students and healthcare workers in the basics of phlebotomy techniques. The course of study provides opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills used by healthcare workers who collect blood as part of their job responsibilities.

After successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a certificate of completion from J´Reneé College.

Course Details:

  • The J´Reneé Phlebotomy program is an accelerated 20-hour program held once a week for four weeks.
  • Contact the Admissions Office for the latest schedule and to register.
  • Applicants do not need prior healthcare education or experience to enroll, although acquiring phlebotomy skills can expand a nurse aid or CNA's role.

Enrollment:

To enroll in Phlebotomy, make an appointment to visit our campus Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to speak with an Admissions Representative. A one-time student application must be submitted to enroll in any J´Reneé program. The application fee is a non-refundable $45 fee. Payments are accepted in cash, check or credit card.
